La Ofrenda is digital publication and collective dedicated to generating cultural consciousness of Latine diasporic stories for Latine diasporic people. Acknowledging the fact that dominant Western epistemologies have historically erased the stories/archives of our people and simultaneously can generalize our experiences and identity, we ground ourselves in the diversity of spiritual, communal, and creative practices.

Through interdisciplinary art practices and various forms of writing, we envision a dream space of play, safety, nurturing, and love. La Ofrenda serves as an outlet for people who come from the diasporic peoples of Latin America to dissect uncomfortable questions, encourage intimate conversation and embrace mutual aid.

Through expressive artistic mediums, assertive yet attentive language, and limitless imagination, La Ofrenda welcomes contributions that unpack the complex histories of our pasts, explore the conversations of our current reality, and envision the endless possibilities of our cultural futures. Above all, La Ofrenda is a reciprocal space emphasizing collectivity as well as learning from and with each other.
